Eat as much spaghetti as you want to benefit Boynton police explorers

Jan 01

The Boynton Beach Police Department is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to benefit the police explorers.

The dinner is Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. at the Village Royale on the Green Clubhouse, at 2015 Northeast First Court. At $10 per ticket, it’s all you can eat.

Money raised will help the Police Explorer Post 369 pay competition costs and buy new uniforms and equipment.

Here’s a little bit about the explorer program according to police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater:

“The explorer program offers young adults a personal awareness of the criminal justice system through training, practical experiences, competition, and other activities. Additionally, the program promotes personal growth through character development, respect for the rule of law, physical fitness, good citizenship and patriotism.”
